After acquiring cult status for his fammed smuggling incident of La Tache vine cuttings in his tighty whities, Gary Pisoni has officially hit the mainstream. Perfectly encapsulated in the relatively conservative 'In Wine Country,' Gary's splash on television echoes just as loudly as one of his pinot noirs. I've always imagined him to be a bit idiosyncratic, but check out how he showcases his spastic words and impulsive behaviors, while maintaining his old fashioned values of family. Winemakers really are just like their wines, or is it the other way around?
